The "co-bots" have arrived. What is a co-bot? A robot with which you’re supposed to work hand in hand to complete whatever task may confront you.
More specifically, these co-bots are used to help fit shock absorbers to Ford Fiestas in the company's Cologne, Germany, plant . Creepily shaped like a human arm, the robot helps workers lift and fit heavy parts onto cars. The robot looks like it’s spent a fair amount of time in the gym, and the hand does an eerily good impression of a human one.
